Get Started as Discord User

A short guide on how to get started with Crypto Link system and participate in building the bridges between Stellar and Discord Users.

1️⃣ Register account and obtain wallet

To be part of the Crypto Link ecosystem and bridge builder between Stellar and Millions of Discord Users you are required to have at least wallet level 1 registered. Upon successful registration you will create yourself account based on your unique Discord ID which will be used as a reference for further account operations. Additionally, profile for statistical tracking will be created as well as wallet including deposit details.

Command: !register

Availability: Public Discord Channel

Bot Response: Channel & DM

Requirements: Discord User Account

If someone has sent you XLM or any other supported token over Discord with Crypto Link, your wallet has been automatically created.

2️⃣ Deposit to your wallet

In order to be able to actively participate in the Crypto Link ecosystem, and start building bridges over Discord, you are required to deposit some XLM (unless someone has already sent you some). Once successfully deposited a system message will be sent on successfully processed deposit.

Command: !wallet deposit

Availability: Public Discord Channel or Direct Message with the bot

Bot Response: Channel & DM

Requirements: Registered account

When Depositing to wallet, you MUST provide both MEMO as text and Deposit Wallet address otherwise deposited funds could get lost and not processed.

3️⃣ Make first payment over Discord

Send XLM or any token integrated in to Crypto Link directly to another user on the same Discord server. The transaction will be public and displayed to the whole server.

Command: !send @discord.User <amount> <ticker> <message=Optional>

Availability: Public Discord Channel

Bot Response: Channel, DM, Up-Link

Requirements: Registered account and sufficient funds

• @discord.User : Recipient of the payment. Must be another user Discord tag from the same server.

• <amount> : amount of XLM/Token that will be send to the recipient .

• <ticker> : token to be used in payment .

• <message> (optional) : Message that will accompany the transfer. Will be visible by the recipient and you in the payment slip upon successful completion.

Example: !send @Animus#1234 1.0 xlm Have some fun with XLM!

If payment successful, you and recipient should receive a payment slip by Crypto Link over Direct Message.

4️⃣ Explore Crypto Link and get assistance

Once you have completed all the steps above, you can further explore the ecosystem through help menu where all other functionalities are explained and instructions on how to access them.
